1. What’s (the name of) your hometown?
I am from Ferozepur, a land famous for its freedom fighters. The city is located near river satluj on the indo-pak border in the province Punjab in northern india.
2. Is it a big city or a small place?
My city is a big city, which has various industries and a lot of facilities like railways, hospitals and local markets to purchase any goods.
3. Please describe your hometown a little.
My city is divided into two parts, the army area and the city area. In the cantt area there is a small market, and a lot of military settlements. In the city area there are all the hospitals and restaurants where people can eat delicious things.
4. How long have you been living there?
I have been living there since my birth.
5. Do you like your hometown?
Yes, i like my hometown since it is a green city, it has lush green gardens and various trees. Moreover, for young people, my city has many opportunities. The living costs are very less so I feel it is a good city to live in.
6. Do you like living there?
Yes, I like living here since all sorts of facilities are available in my town.
7. Would you say it’s an interesting place?
It is an interesting place because, you can visit the saragarhi Sikh shrine and various other historical places, and because of the nearby indo pak border, the city becomes very interesting to explore.
8. What do you like (most) about your hometown?
I like everything about my hometown, such as the roads, buildings, and people, nothing is bad apart from local public transport.
9. What’s your favorite part of your hometown?
It is a road located near the city center, which is known as shoppers street, all the brand stores and shopping complexes are located on this road called the mall road.
10. Is there anything you dislike about it?
Two things are really bad, public transport and waste management. The vehicles charge extra charges to go to remote areas and many city corners have become dumping grounds, where people throw their waste, which not only pollutes the space but looks really awful.
11. Do you think you will continue living there for a long time?
Yes, I think I will spend my lifetime here, it is my birthplace and I have a deep attachment to the town. I know almost all the people in my town and they are very friendly too.
