4.) Describe a rule that you don’t like
Describe a rule that you don’t like
You should say:
What it is?
Why you don’t like it?
How do others feel about the rule?
And explain whether you’ve followed the rule.
All the rules and laws have the same purpose to differentiate right from wrong and what happens if someone breaks the rules. these rules are made to ensure the safety and respect of all the community members and here I would like to talk about an old rule which I dislike the most.
This rule is regarding the censoring of movies by the government. I feel this rule is not good because when a movie is edited, the whole movie becomes meaningless.
There is a discussion on whether movies should be edited or not. There was an SMS poll conducted on an Indian news channel which said that most people wanted this rule to be changed and somewhere the discussion is very logical because whichever movie or TV series is there, it comes with a warning that this content is for adults only.
And If someone is over 18 and they can get married and have children, and drive cars, but they can’t watch a movie is it justified?
It is not the creator's duty to create a show in a way that a 6-year-old kid can watch it too and if you are an irresponsible parent and don't know what your kids are watching that is your problem.
Ultimately I am a normal citizen and this rule also applies to me It is out of my hands so I have followed the rule and I feel that we cannot do much apart from expressing disrespect for this law.
Why do schools make rules?
Rules and regulations are considered an utmost priority in schools, in the absence of rules there will be chaos. Neither students nor teachers will be able to take their responsibilities carefully. Rules teach students how to live in discipline and do things with determination, dedication and on proper time. Thus guidelines help children become declined citizens in the long run.
What is the importance of obeying laws?
Laws are implemented for the smooth running of our society so each and every person should be a law-abiding person. disobeying the laws leads to a chaotic life not only for us but also for others. On the other hand duty of fully obeying laws creates peace and smoothness. Most importantly our country grows substantially.
What can teachers and parents do to help children follow rules?
According to my perspective, the first and foremost method which can be adopted by parents and teachers is that first they should set an example in front of children by doing the same thing and children will definitely copy them. Secondly, they should instil this habit into children by telling them what the are rules and what is the importance of following them.
Is it a good thing to break the rules sometimes?
Being a kind of law-abiding person I can’t consider breaching any rules. because they are for our betterment. I think we should never disobey any law until it’s a matter of life and death.
Why do some people say that rules are made to be broken?
Well, different individuals have different mindsets; however, I reckon that rules are meant to be followed instead. People who think so I believe, perhaps, they are exceedingly fearless or they have a lazy attitude which makes them think or do like this.
Do you think children must wear school uniforms?
Undoubtedly wearing uniforms is crucial for students as it saves the time they spend selecting new dresses every day to wear. Besides dressing up similarly for schools minimizes inferiority among students because no one is in a branded or simple outfit. And the most important benefit is that a sense of discipline, and purpose can be instilled in kids.
What rules should children follow at home?
Home is the first school for kids where the habit of following rules can be inculcated in them at a basic level with the help of guardians. children should learn to do habitual activities on time like getting up, studying, playing, and keeping themselves or their things clean or organized.
Do you think children should follow all kinds of rules?
Of course yes, children need to follow all types of rules as it’s an excellent way to teach them this habit. Their age is an impressionable age once they have learnt something live with them during their lifetimes.
