part 1 on old buildings

1. Have you ever seen some old buildings in your city?

Yeah of course,  ferozepur is not only a border town but a historical city too, there are many old buildings that have been well preserved and Actually, some of them are in good condition. If you go to places like saragarhi sikh shrine, indo pak border, these buildings are almost 100 years old and at the indo pak border there is a railway station which used to connect ferozepur and Lahore is still intact, there is a old castle at that place which was the control station used by britishers in 1800’s. so there are many old buildings in my town.

2. Do you think we should keep old buildings in cities?

If we are thinking about historically important buildings yes, we should retain them as our cultural heritage, if we consider space management we should not keep lousy buildings which cant be preserved instead these should converted into vertical  buildings which can be used for various purposes.

3. Do you prefer living in an old building or a modern house?

Modern house, no doubt! I want to enjoy the conveniences of modern buildings, Where I can enjoy the spacious and well-ventilated rooms equipped with modern facilities such as air conditioning and lift. These are something that you can hardly enjoy in an old building.

4. Are there any old buildings you want to see in the future? Why?

I would love to see old structures as they represent different things like some represent love like the taj mahal, some represent victory and freedom like statue of liberty. They can be a window to the old culture like what type of structures and materials were used and how those people would have lived in the past. We can also learn about culture of that era and feel positive. I would visit these places to enhance my knowledge and develop my understanding of different cultures.
