What it was

Explain why you did it together
Generally we do
activities to get a pleasurable experience, and some activities are done
together so that we can learn from other experienced people. Here I would
like to talk about an activity I did in a group and felt delighted afterwards.
The activity was fishing
which I did my maternal uncle at harike, It is a small town 50 kms away from my
city, it is on the bank of satluj river and has a wetland and wildlife century
near it.
It was 3 years ago, just
before covid pandemic. I had gone there for a family trip with my maternal
uncle and my brother.
When you visit harike first you have to ride a
motor boat and then you reach in the centre of the reservoir area and you can
do your activities for 3 hours and return.
Actually, my maternal
uncle is a retired army man and he is very fond of fishing since he loves to
eat fresh fish and he wanted to do fishing so he took us to along to this place
and he gave us some fishing lectures and we learnt how to actually catch a
fish.
He told us about right fishing
bait which can be a worm or fresh
vegetables. He told us about how to use the fishing rod and how to get the fish
out of water.
Once we started I sat
for 35 mins and nothing happened and I thought I would not catch a fish, but
then my fishing rod felt tight and I quickly called my uncle and he pulled out the fish
which had bitten the bait. Afterwards I caught 4 fish and I felt extremely happy.
The reason he took us
along was that my brother wanted to learn fishing and my maternal uncle wanted
to do fishing whereas I wanted to visit wildlife century to see various animals like monkeys and panda's so we all tagged along. This was an enjoyable experience I had just before
lockdown.
