We are living in the era of information, everything is readily available on the internet and anyone can access it from anywhere. Here I would like to talk about time when i needed some information and i used the internet to grab it.

This incident is 1 year old when i was in my school and my teacher had assigned a project to me as my final project of my senior secondary. I had to prepare a presentation about rules on consumer protection 

Firstly i used my books to find what types of problems can a person face while purchasing a product.Then i used the internet to search about rules which a customer has to follow to get a refund. I found to that one needs to have proof of defect and one can easily file a case in consumer court. 

I really enjoyed the project and with the help of books, the internet and my teacher i was able to make a successful presentation

What was the result of your survey.

I found out that 35% of students were dissatisfied and wanted more facilities whereas these students had low marks. Whereas toppers were satisfied and wanted more descipline.

How can people search for information now?

In this era, everything is available on the internet and then there are books and experienced people who can provide you proper and accurate information. More importantly there are video content platforms like YouTube where you can find best of the teachers.

2 What information can people get from television?


People can get all sorts of information from news to recipes. People can watch different channels which provide different kinds of information as in geography channels like discovery and the history.

Do you think libraries are still important in the digital age?

Yes absolutely, because some  things on the internet are bogus and not all the information is true. So libraries provide accurate information which one can rely on.

Does the development of the Internet have any impact on some disadvantaged people?

Yes, technologies such as the Internet have definitely helped the disadvantaged, especially those from weaker economic backgrounds. It has allowed them to learn new things for free and also created opportunities for them to earn more money by being able to reach more customers.
For example, a small time taxi driver who could get only a few customers from a particular location stand only can now ferry more customers in a day, and that too from any location because of mobility apps like uber.
