13.) Describe a time when you received money as a
gift.

- When did you receive it?
- What did you do with it?
- How did you feel about it?

In India it is very common to receive money as a gift and here I would like to talk about a time when i received money as a blessing from an elder family member.

Particularly, very recently my maternal grandmother had visited our house and she had brought a lot of  sweets and gifts for us. She had visited our house because there was a house warming party at our new house. After completing the holy rituals she had given me 2100 rs as a blessing from the elders. I felt really happy at that time.

I gave that money to my mother, since in my culture, money given as a blessing is not spent and is kept in a locker for it to foster the good vibes in the home.

I always feel happy when my elders give me some sort of blessing; it may be money or sweets since their blessings save us from negativity and bad energies.
