21.) Describe a time when someone asked for your
opinion
You should say:
Who asked for your opinion
Why he/she wanted to know your opinion
What opinion you gave
And explain how you felt when he/she asked for your opinion

We all need advice before making important decisions, and we commonly, take advice from people who are wise and experienced. In this cue card, i will talk about a time when someone took my advice for deciding something.

Who asked for your opinion ?

Actually my brother wanted to purchase a phone, and he was confused about which device he should purchase. He had used an Android phone for a long time and now he wanted to purchase a Mac based smartphone called iPhone.

Why did he/she wanted to know about your opinion ?

Interestingly, i have an abundance of knowledge related to Mobile devices, since it is my favourite hobby to know about features and functions of contemporary smartphones.  Secondly, i am using an iOS based smartphone from apple, so he wanted to clear all the doubts he had about the software and the device.

What opinion you gave ?

In fact, i told him how it's software is one of the best and it has plenty of features which Android devices lack, furthermore the camera works brilliantly, moreover it's one the safest devices, because with my iphone location feature, if you lose the phone, you can find it by logging into your apple id. Ultimately, i told him it's a premium device which would help him personally and professionally and it's budget friendly too.

And explain how you felt when he/she asked for your opinion

I was surprised at first because I don't feel he considers me very wise because he is older to me however I was absolutely delighted as i would guide him in the best possible way. This has also increased our trust in each other. As a whole this was an incident where someone took my advice which made me feel satisfied and enthralled.
