And explain how you feel about the home

Home is the shelter and the gathering place for everyone. Having a safe & secure place for residence makes it easier to achieve life goals. Here I would like to describe the home of my friend Gurpreet.

This house is located in Chandigarh district which is in the foothills of himalyas. The reason why I feel his house is worth mentioning is that his house is made in 500 square feet and is a spacious and capacious duplex house, built in Italian marble and Chinese limestone and is 4 bhk set with its own art corner with the oldest painting of first Sikh master by sobha singh and it also has antique Chinese decor like the budha sculpture.

Moreover, it has advanced security too, it has 5 cctv cameras in the front and in the backyard and it has hi-tech fire alarms and it has security guards at the entrance too and all these luxurious security features can be accessed through an app.

Furthermore it has an advanced kitchen too, with a hob-top gas system and heating ovens, dishwasher and island sink with a double door refrigerator.

It also has curtains which open automatically in sunlight and a Chandelier which plays music via wifi.

It is a lake view apartment on South of sukhna lake, with a balcony view of the lake with lush green trees and beautiful garden backyard.

It has 1 sofa set which is  21 seater, u shaped one with soft filled cushions and valvet stitched seats.

I have visited this house a few times.

I feel this house is luxurious and lavish as it is one of the posh houses with all the facilities of a luxury home. Whenever I visit this house i feel amazed and astonished and certainly wish to purchase a house like this in the future.

Follow ups

1 What are the differences between buildings in the city and in the countryside?

The main diffrence is area and decor. City buildings are small in size and countryside buildings are spacious. City buildings have better internal decor and countryside buildings are traditional in decor. Moreover cities have apartments and multistorey buildings but countryside area has more horizontal buildings.

2 Do you prefer to live in the city or in the countryside?

I prefer to live in the city because it offers better facilities and also has more opportunities and
experience for young people like me. City life is more independent and entertaining as there are various malls and shopping complexes to visit with cinemas but in countryside areas there are fewer things to do and life is boring sometimes.

3 What safety risks are there in residential buildings in cities?

The main risk is of fire, especially in vertical buildings. Fire incident on one floor could cause disaster
for people living on the higher floors and could lead to a great loss of life.

4 Is it expensive to decorate a house or an apartment in the place where you live?

Yes it has become very expensive to decorate one’s house or apartment these days. The cost of furniture and decorative items have skyrocketed. Also, the indoor plants which play an important role in  house decor have too become expensive these days.
