Internet shopping has become the most growing business in this contemporary era. People like to shop sitting at their home enjoying the convenience of an Internet purchase where the product is delivered to your home. However sometimes the product may be faulty because you are not able to physically touch and see the product here I would like to talk about a related incident.
Actually in the COVID 19, I had purchased a dress for my sister's birthday and because the shops were closed I used the eCommerce platform for purchasing the address which was ethnicroop.
The dress which I had purchased was a pant plazo which was of green colour and the product I received was not the one i ordered it was actually very different from what was shown online and later I contacted a certain tailor of our town and I tried to get the dress repair for my sister but I could not.
Later on I tried returning the product so that I can utilise that money to purchase another dress for my sister but my emails were unanswered they redirected me to their site and customer care numbers were bogus and i didn't receive a refund.
Actually I was sudden depressed after this happened with me because the dress was of no use and I could not give anything to my sister and when I saw her sad face I felt really drowned; however my sister took the dress and used the plazo with other dresses and also as a night suit. I actually felt disheartened even though I realised how much my sister loved me and how she even loves the dress which is useless.
1. What kind of customer service do you think is good?
The one which helps the customer, after sales services ensure customer satisfaction and companies need to address issues like faulty products.
What are the differences between shopping online and in-store?
Well there are two major differences in Internet shopping and shopping at a retail store. the first one is that in retail stores you can physically touch the product is check the quality but at an internet store you have to rely on the picture which sometimes can be bogus. secondly the variety of things on the Internet are more and retail stores have a little lesser variety then internet stores. In terms of expenses I think both cost the same the product is sometimes cheaper on the internet but again no quality guaranteed.
3 What problems do customers often have while shopping?
There are 3 basic problems which customers face what to choose how to choose and the price. moreover sometimes the product maybe faulty too.
What do you think customers should do when there are problems with products bought online?
First customers need to check how he she can return the product try putting up some emails to the company and record pictures of the product and send it to them if they still do not address the problem the customer can file a case in the consumer court and can get their product replaced and can also get proper compensation.
